Best of WiMAX World EMEA 2008 Awards

xchange magazine and Trendsmedia, the events and publishing division of Yankee Group, are pleased to present the Best of WiMAX World EMEA 2008 Awards at the WiMAX World EMEA conference, May 19-21, in Munich, Germany. The awards recognize leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies. Previous WiMAX World Awards were a great success, showcasing the most innovative in the WiMAX field. Nominations for the Best of WiMAX World EMEA 2008 Awards closed on April 4, 2008.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Nominations
Nominations are open to exhibitors and sponsors of the WiMAX World EMEA 2008 conference.  Products need not be certified by the WiMAX Forum to be considered. Nominations must be submitted via the Web form below. Only one nomination per form will be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be judged and will result in disqualification.

Deadline
All submissions are due no later than April 4, 2008. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

Categories
Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Service Provider Deployment
• Muni Broadband Collaborative Deployment
• System Design
• Devices/Peripherals/Application Software
• Chip Design
• Industry Innovation
• Industry Choice

Judging
Final selection of winners will be made by the Best of WiMAX World Awards Selection Committee, which includes experts from the WiMAX community. The Industry Choice award finalists will be determined by the judging panel and will be voted at the WiMAX World EMEA conference by attendees. Submissions will be rated on criteria outlined for each category by the respective judges.

Selection Committee
The Selection Committee will include representatives from xchange, Trendsmedia and invited subject matter experts.

Awards Presentation
The Best of WiMAX World EMEA 2008 Awards will be presented on May 20, 2008, during a special presentation at the WiMAX World EMEA conference. Winners will receive personalized trophies as well as electronic files for use in their marketing and advertising.

Press Coverage
Award winners will be acknowledged on the event and xchange Web sites, and in a future issue of xchange magazine.
